GRK 2250/1 Winter Workshop 2020
The last Winter Workshop of the first GRK 2250 cohort took place on the 3rd to 5th of February 2020 in Oberwiesenthal, which is a ski resort located approximately two driving hours from the city of Dresden.
The technical part of the program consisted of presentations by the doctoral researchers and discussions with the supervisors and with the invited experts. This time the experts were Anna Pandolfi (Politechnico di Milano, Italy), Barzin Mobasher (Arizona State University, USA), Josko Ozbolt (Technische Universität Stuttgart, Germany), Marco di Prisco (Politechnico di Milano, Italy) and Petr Hajek (Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic).
To keep the minds fresh and the mood high, the event also included free activities, such as skiing and hiking, both facilitated by the nice surroundings and favorable weather conditions.
